Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

Standard Counseling Sessions (Non-Intensive)

To respect the time reserved for each client, appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a $150 cancellation fee.
  • Missed appointments (no-shows) are subject to the same fee.
  • Late arrivals do not extend session time, and the full session fee applies.
  • If a client arrives too late for the session to be clinically appropriate, the appointment will be considered a no-show.

Intensive Sessions – Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because Individual and Couples Intensives require extensive preparation, blocked scheduling, and reserved clinical time, the following policy applies:

  • No Refund Policy
    • All Intensive Sessions are non-refundable once the intensive has begun.
    • This includes partial attendance, early termination, or a client’s decision to discontinue for any reason.
  • Cancellation Prior to Intensive Start Date
    • If a client cancels prior to the scheduled intensive start date, all funds paid are non-refundable.
    • Intensive sessions require extended, uninterrupted time that cannot be reassigned or filled on short notice.
  • Deposits
    • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold dates for all intensives.

Reason for Intensive Policy

Intensive sessions require:

  • Advanced clinical preparation and treatment planning
  • Extended, uninterrupted scheduling that limits availability for other clients
  • Emotional, mental, and professional resources specifically allocated to the client

Once an intensive is scheduled, the reserved time cannot be reassigned or resold.
